October Full Moon
The Corn Moon/ Harvest Moon is a full moon that occures in September. The September full moon is usually called the Harvest Moon because it is normally the closest full moon to the autumn equinox.
Every third year, however, a full moon comes in October that’s even closer, making the September full moon a Corn Moon.
This full Moon name is attributed to Native Americans because it represents a time when corn was supposed to be harvested. At the peak of harvest, farmers could work late into the night by the light of the Harvest Moon...

The Harvest Moon reminds me of a time of Hearth and Home
Spend some time preparing your home for the upcoming chilly months. If you don't already have one, set up a hearth or kitchen altar for those times when you're cooking, baking and canning. Use this time to clear out clutter—both physical and emotional—before you have to spend the long winter days and nights inside. (However we are now used to this 🙄)

The Harvest Moon is very bright, probably the biggest and brightest Moon of the year, personally one of my favorites as it is the most beautiful bright Orange color and nothing says fall is coming more than this particular moon!!

.
Fun Fact...This moon can also be called the wine moon..(no wonder I love it so much) So I shall celebrate accordingly!!🍷🍷
